I have my pre-test this saturday. 3 years ago

I think that I will pass both of the running tests this time. (1.5 miles and 300 meters). I haven’t been practicing the pushups or situps lately. Last time my pushups were way above what i needed. My situps need improvement but I am hoping/assuming that all this running will get rid of some of my gut and therefore make it easier to do the situps. Today I did various speed, hill, and cardio workouts on the treadmill for a grand total of about an hour and a half. (though the programs always include a cool down and warm up before you really do some serious running)

My training for the rest of this week is:
Wednesday: 1 min situp test, 50 reg pushups, 100 situps.
Thursday: Practice test- 1.5 miles, 300 meters, situps, pushups
Friday: Rest day, eat sushi for diner, lots of vitamins.
Saturday: Test day 7:30 am

After seeing where I am at I will alter my training so that I can be ready for my final test on Aug 12-13.

I finally put together the great romantic diner 3 years ago

It was for her birthday. Opera, sensual poetry on the table, candles, lobster bisque, calypso shrimp w mango salsa, coldstone icecream, and a nice romantic setting.

going backwards in running speed 3 years ago

It is sad but somehow I have gone backwards in my time. Today I ran a mile and a half in 16 mins. And I did my 300 meter in 1 min 53 secs. I need to run my 1.5 mile in under 15 and my 300 meter in 1 min 11 sec. In exactly one week I will need to meet all these PT goals (for the practice test) The night before the last test I ate sushi and did really well. Last night I ate icecream. Perhaps a better choice in meals will help with a better running time.

PS thanks for all the cheers!!!
