I purchased my megabus ticket and am leaving April 30th with my savings and a giant suitcase. I’m still going to rent a room on a week to week basis, until I find a job and then I’ll start looking for a place w/roommates.

I am having a real dinner party with my best friend David and we are going to try to aim for three courses and at least 4-5 guests. I’m going to start prepping tonight so I have less work to do tomorrow, considering I will be doing a majority of the cooking.
I went up to SF for a visit and to scope out the neighborhoods and make sure I actually want to move there. I had a blast! And Muni is great. I love a beautiful city with a big park and good public transportation!
Anywhoo, I met a guy who relocated from Missouri and he told me about how he rented a room on a week to week basis while he is getting settled/in between jobs and I thought that was an excellent idea so I am going to purchase a mega bus ticket for May 1st and just rent a room until I find employment and then get a more permanent living situation.
Finally got up early enough to go for a ride before work. Wow am I out of shape; It was enjoyable torture though and made me realize I need to quit smoking sooner than later if I want to become good at this hobby.

If I can get the days off from work, I would love to go back to London for a week in March. I’ve been there twice before and haven’t had very pleasant experiences but I would like to give the city another chance and actually try British food this time and interact more with the locals.
I discovered this University on the Slow Food Website (http://www.slowfood.com/) and feel like I’ve found my calling and even though they only admit a small number of students each year, I would regret not even trying. San Francisco State can wait if this is possible.
