I took three years of intense latin in high school. We started out at Latin 1 with easy exercises and then in 2nd year we did Caesar, and this last year we translated most of Cicero’s orations against Cataline. I’m graduating early but I’m going to try to find a way to keep up with the class, we’re going to do Virgil this year.

I love Latin, my writing has improved so much, my vocabulary is huge, and it feels good to blow through 30 lines of original Latin and understand EVERYTHING that was going on 2000 years ago.

I have been stuck at $2000 in my back account for a while. Not enough to buy a reasonable car, just enough to make me feel kind of rich.

I guess I’m lucky I don’t have to pay bills or rent or buy food. but with a car, I’ll have insurance and gas to deal with. oh I don’t know.
