i think being able to do this would mean truly having at last accepted myself as I am – it would be a very life affirming experience

How I did it: erm...taking driving lessons is pretty much the way i did it! This is something I have been putting off for far too long (like everything else), but I have finally got enough money now to see this through, I hope.
It is going better than i thought it would – I haven’t forgotten nearly as much as i suspected after all these years.
I know cars are evil and we are destroing the planet with our ceaseless desire for motion, but I can’t help wanting to be on the move myself. I long just to be able to get in a campervan or motorhome, and take off from here, never to return.
