The Quilters Apprentice
By Jennifer Chiaverini
Another easy read, chick-lit kind of book. Not normally my style of novel but decided to try something a bit lighter. I must say this one was a pleasure to read.

Destructive Emotions: A Scientific Dialogue with the Dalai Lama
By Daniel Goleman.
Very interesting, particularly about teaching children about controlling their emotions.
Mommy Mantras: Affirmations and Insights to Keep You From Losing Your Mind
by Bethany E. Casarjian and Diane H. Dillon
Excellent by reassuring that other parents feel and react the same way with their kids. The actual mantras I wouldn’t bother with. Typical self-help theory
