All I know is that Italy was better than I expected. I expected it to be very cliche-because most folks wanna see Italy! But it was so much more beautiful than I expected. That’s the thing about Italy it’s beauty everywhere. The people, the food, the old buildings, the fashion…but most importantly the land itself. I was in awe when I took a train through Tuscany and Umbria on my way to visit the ancient city of Assisi. It was on top of a mountain and its called the “City of Peace.” It really and truly is, and is home to one of the world’s most famous peacemakers, St. Francis. It is a must see and I cannot say anything more. Oh, and Venice is just as whimsical as it looks in photos. Do it.

How I did it
How I did it: Well, lets just say i did it not so well. Heres what not to do: Give yourself more than 2 and a half days in Rome. You will kick yourself for not seeing the Vatican Museum! (I am)Keep it cheap, I mean Rome's not where your gonna eat Italy's best pizza--its gonna be in some little cafe in Naples.Don't pay for the combined tour of the Colosseum and the Forum.Somehow i feel I got ripped off...DO go out, and visit the Travesterre neighborhood… Read how I did it…
How I did it: I gave up soda pop, and I bought one of those cheap water bottles from Target. The key is to have a good water bottle. I started to carry it everywhere--no matter what. I noticed I stopped feeling as tired and had less headaches. Read how I did it…
