We did it! A month in Europe went by so fast! I saw so much and met so many people—it was truly the experience I had hoped for. Even when things were not at their most satisfying this past month, I was able to learn about and experience things outside of the scope of my everyday life.
France definitely won the prize for most rewarding since I interacted with so many new people and got to exercise my language skills, but Italy was really special because I got to see family that I have really missed. Spain was a bit of a culture shock (or something), but I definitely learned some lessons there about what I am and am not comfortable with, and what kinds of travel I do and do not enjoy.
Altogether, I am incredibly pleased that this trip worked out, and am rather amazed at how reasonable the total cost was.

Last paper turned in, graduation today! I am very happy and relieved to have made it through. It has been really hard going to school while working full time, and cramming my degree into a year and a half has been hectic to say the least. On this side of it though it doesn’t seem like a half bad way to spend the time.
Yay!

papers in weeks, that is. as much as i wish that i could get a jump on the next task, i think i am starting to come to grips with finishing one paper and then working on the next paper each week. it is still a struggle as i wish very much that i could somehow get everything done all at once. really, i need to remember that i will give out if there is to be an entire month of craziness, so i need to plan some down-time in there somewhere.
but we are getting closer!
