Don’t be afraid to do this kind of thing—it shows tremendous independence and confidence!! Some may think it’s weird or “loner” like but they are afraid. Don’t buy into the fear.
I started training for my next half marathon…the Rock and Roll half in Phoenix AZ in January 2008. I think the hardest part is just getting the miles in! It’s been over 2 years since I trained and ran any distance over 5 miles…so this will be interesting. But I’m ready. Let the fun begin!
