I have not booked my ticket yet, but I have signed up for the Seattle Marathon. I have several friends who live in Seattle, so I have places to stay. I am very excited about this, and I consider it to be my graduation present to myself!

How I did it: In college, I have always been running around, and filling up any empty moments in my schedule with activity. I also always stressed out. I found a balance by cutting down on some of my activities, and making sure I made time for things that I valued. I would often feel very guilty, but I realized that I had to ignore this feeling for a little while and not stress out as much. I did it as much for my sanity as my health because I think th… Read how I did it…
How I did it: I didn't train exactly as I should have...I was using the Runner's World Ultimate Half Marathon plan, but fell off track with school. None the less, I tried to fit in long runs as I could, and short runs a few times a week. Prior to the 1/2 marathon, my longest run had been ten miles. Read how I did it…

I signed up for it. June 27th. 2 of my friends are running it with me. Should be pretty fun, and I get to work on my other goal of visiting Seattle.
Let the training begin!
i began trying the vegan thing out today. I am going to try to do it for a month and see how it goes.
today is January 16th, 2009…so let’s see how I am feeling on February 16th.
so far so good :) I ate oatmeal for breakfast, a veggie burrito for lunch with corn, black beans, red onion, salsa, etc…, and for dinner i am going to have sushi (california rolls and such!). I also had a snack of strawberries. Lovely :D
