I’m in my hometown looking for work, she’s 150 miles away at university. We both love, respect, and trust in each other and are both determined to make it work, not that it seems like we’re ‘making’ it work, it just does, and always has :) 3 years isn’t as long as it sounds, then we’ll be free to do what we want :)

How I did it: Took a year's Postgraduate (Masters) course in Forensic Psychology and stuck it out until the very end! Just found out yesterday that I passed, yay! As mentioned elsewhere, I lost interest and motivation half-way through the year and struggled to do work until it was absolutely the last possible minute. I'm pleased the course is finished, but I'm still glad I took it because I am now a Master of Sciences! :D Read how I did it…
I bought a starter kit for calligraphy, and so far I’m really enjoying it. It’s very easy and the kit breaks down the writing of each letter into its sub-components, so I can better understand how the letters are formed. I don’t think it will help my everyday writing, but it’s nice to be able to write nicely when I need to, it’s a bit too fancy for everyday use, but I’m sure there are other uses for gothic style writing! :D
I realise it’s not the best way of doing things, but over a couple of drinks, I told my brother that I love him. Don’t get me wrong, I wasn’t drunk, and it was sincere brotherly love, and I spoke to him about our childhood and asked him how he felt about “the L-word” not really being discussed as we grew up. It didn’t seem to have affected him the same way I feel it has affected me, but he could relate to some of what I was saying.
It’s a start in telling my family that I love them, and it felt nice to feel like a real brother for once. I love my li’l bro to bits and have finally told him, and heard him say the same to me. I am happy :)
