I Am Legend 4 weeks ago

6.) I Am Legend by Richard Matheson

I loved this book. Actually, I suppose I should say I loved the story I Am Legend in this book. The story I Am Legend took half of the book’s contents and the other half was taken up by a modicum of short stories. It was a compelling read. Books about survival in a disease-ridden post-apocalyptic world are some of my favorite works of literature.

On a side note, I really wish publishers would quit throwing in short stories at the end of books. If I wanted to read those short stories I would buy a book with JUST those short stories. I felt compelled to read the short stories which I wouldn’t have felt if they would been in a separate book. To me a book is not completed unless everything in it has been read. Which means that those PUBLISHING ASSHOLES sitting in there COMFY LEATHER CHAIRS forced me to read some random drivel. I hate feeling forced into my involuntary little corners. Quit taking advantage of people with obsessive compulsive tendencies.

On another note I liked a lot of those short stories. Still pissed though.
