I would love just one really good relationship. Take this with a grain of salt, however. In my opinion, a good relationship is not neccessarily restricted to a relationship that goes well all the time, or ends happily ever after, with 2.4 children and a white picket fence. I would just like to be in a relationship with a person I could respect, and be respected by, and know that if or when that relationship ended, I would have no regrets.

I frequently find myself working with or for people from international locations, and feeling not only “out of the loop” per se when they are talking in a language I cannot communicate in (I speak English and a fair amount of Spanish), but also ashamed at the American view of other languages and lingual education. Most people I have met in these situations speak three or more languages fluently, and an American who can speak even one language above and beyond English is rare in my experience.
I think ballroom dancing is kind of like golf and other non-team activities that are vital to a well rounded life. One of those things that one really should try to learn how to do, just so you have that ability all your life, and can just go out and do it when the mood strikes you. It is often also somewhat socially advantageous. I say all of this, and yet STILL have two left feet, and no prospect of fixing this condition any time soon.
