i’ve met very few pc users who actually enjoy using windows. meanwhile, most mac users will gush about their computer experience. why? because things just work and the interface doesn’t get in the way of your productivity. for basic day-to-day tasks, business or multimedia projects, there is a mac built to suit your needs. however, you may have to hang onto your wintel box if videogames are your focus.
keep a couple of things to keep in mind:
- the best times to buy are usually after Macworld in January and July.
- Never buy RAM from Apple – visit ramseeker for sensible prices.
- get involved with local and online mac communities

i remember not getting a (well paying) valet job in college cuz i couldn’t drive a stick. after that, i was more determined than ever to learn. ryhthm is the secret. shifting engages you more with the act of driving and adds to the fun and excitement. plus, you’ll be more aware of traffic, making you a much safer driver.

for years, the bulk of my reading has been limited to periodicals and technical manuals. i like to think that reading more novels might help with my writing and help keep my brain sharp. plus, books are kewl.
