Well…now that the 39 month lease on the 2005 Jeep Liberty is up and replaced it with a used 2000 Hyundai Accent for $1,500, it’s time to get serious and save for our dream home! I want to save at least $10,000 dollars this year. $900 a month for 12 months is 10,800. I think I’ll post my progress here to keep myself motivated! I was able to kind of splurge a bit lately (on clothes and shoes) because I don’t have a car payment anymore(and actually have a job again)...but that’s got to stop, I still think I did AWESOME, I bought 3 SWEATERS, 1 LONG sleeve shirt, a pair of BOOTS, a pair of earrings, and dresspants all for $85.00!! Oh and yes, they are all cute! Next week that whole paycheck is being dumped into the bank. I want a different job, one that pays more! Then I can dump more money in the bank! Muah haha! THAT WOULD ROCK.

lol, I got really excited there, but I just can’t wait! We want a nice home with a yard in a nice neighborhood. We don’t want a house that is too much for us to pay, I know he wants a boat, a camper, a motorcycle. lol…So even if we can afford a certain house, we will go way below budget..our home will be modest but updated! I’m so picky, I looked at a bunch of houses on realtyusa.com and I only like ONE! A 4b 2b renovated cape for 109,000. I want it but we can’t have it. Our credit isn’t up to par…so I’m hoping like 7,000 will do for a downpayment. That’s okay, because that’s not our house, our house isn’t on the market yet, sob. I’m just gonna focus on saving!

My cell phone plan is over in January, and I’m seriously trying to save my money…buying an iphone 3g is NOT saving money, it’s the opposite! I agree with the other girl who said they have internet at work and at home…yeah exactly! I don’t even really use the ipod that was given to me by my sis when she got a new one. I guess it’s cause her name is on it…or maybe the plain boring screen…I think I just want it cause I never really had MY own ipod, plus its a phone, and has internet…and cool tilty games, and it’s just awesome. Maybe just maybe! It really depends on how much it will be monthly.

The lease on my 2005 Jeep Liberty is up this month! Thank the heavens above! I mean it was fun getting my first new vehicle after getting that first, “real” job after graduating college but I’m glad I didn’t buy it, I’d have 2 years left plus a gas guzzler! Instead I bought a cute little Hyundai Accent to drive to work in for $1,500 cash(30+mg!)and now won’t have a car payment, I want, no I’m going to SAVE SAVE SAVE for our house! No DVDs, CDs, fancy decorations, fancy gadgets(err, this is hard cause my phone contract is up in January, and I really want the iphone 3g, damn myself, and damn their expensive phone plans) nothing! just the necessities, but first I have to pay my stackable washer and dryer bill off…yep, that’s the first thing that’s happening! Then pay off Hubby’s bills, good thing there’s just a few and they are small, like 120 bucks each… Hopefully, the car last me a year before anything major happens. Hmmm, I hope I don’t give in to that stupid phone, Good luck everyone!
