How I did it: It was a process of stops and starts and many days of feeling like it would never end. I read a few writing books and some stuff online about process--but then I dove into the actual work. I made a general outline of the story beforehand but allowed myself the freedom to play with different scenarios within that overall framework. How I did it: Had been wanting to do a portfolio website for my writing for years. Had downloaded Kompozer and Rapidweaver (free web design programs) but had read iWeb was the simplest to learn, and it was already on my computer. It was very intuitive and easy to get going. Instead of using the templates, I used the blank page and designed my own.
