And try to remain that way day in and day out. That’s what being stable is all about.

How I did it: One step at a time... Sometimes all you have to do is really sacrifice a chunk of a paycheck or extra savings in order to get ahead. I definitely feel that going without for a little bit will save me in the long run for getting out of debt from my marriage and hopefully I can keep it that way. I will never carry a balance for more than 6 months ever again. Read how I did it…
How I did it: After much deliberation and debate, I just went all out for him. He hasn't had anyone really shower him with birthday gifts before, so I knew it would be worth it. Although he wasn't much help in deciding in what he wanted, but he did give me enough options. In the end, I couldn't really decide what to give him, so I got him everything. I put much time, effort, love and money into creating for him the PERFECT birthday. If only I hadn't pis… Read how I did it…
How I did it: By gathering the gumption and just doing it. Whatever it may be... It's something that I can't do all the time, for various reasons (money, energy, time), but always take the chance when the opportunity arises for an adventure - no matter how small (going the wrong way in the city, seeing what's on the other side of the hill). When I still played soccer, I had the toughest legs around. But one day, while playing in college, I tore both of my quads simultaneously. Apparently, they never healed correctly and left scar tissue. The injury made me quit playing, and I have had too much going on to recover properly since then. My knees, hips and ankles have all suffered dire consequences for my neglect. Now, I must- by doctors orders- strengthen the muscles so that they may heal properly. I want to have full use of my legs for the rest of my life.
I won’t say. It’s for me to personally accomplish. It’s not the worst habit in the world, but psychologically and emotionally it can be detrimental to my relationship(s), current and future. So, if I really want true happiness – I will keep myself in check and break this habit for good!
