I made the mistake of bleaching my hair last September and my boyfriend LOVES me as a blonde, so he won’t let me henna.

I have some waiting for me to use though… SOON…. getting stick of my straw-hair.

My only rule is you can’t go skinny dipping if you have a bathing suit on already! That ruins the spontaneity.

I just logged into turbotax.com to see where my return was… REJECTED a month ago! I wonder why they didn’t send an email letting me know.. maybe it got lost.

Says there is an error in the employee ID number… I’ll have to double-check that when I get home.

Still have to do my state ones, living in 2 states means doing them both on paper.

I went crazy at Spring Hill Nursery and ordered tons of flowers from their 1 cent sale (get 6 plants for $5.99 or 12 for $6.00). I hope they don’t all arrive at once… I might have my hands full getting them all in the ground!

Maybe I’m cheating, but I really like their planting diagrams that go with the collections of plants you can buy… I might be an engineer, but I design mechanical stuff, not pretty things…

I’ve decided to add a flower garden blog to part of my site. Hopefully I won’t be too busy planting to keep it up to date. Should be a fun thing to take pictures of this summer.

I’ve been kayaking since 2002 when I moved to new jersey and had a house on the water that I was renting.

I started out cautiously, but have since then paddled in the ocean, and even all the way around Manhattan island.

Now I live in Maryland, on a river that goes out to the Chesapeake Bay. I moved here in the fall and have only gone kayaking once… I can’t wait for it to get warmer so I can start exploring after work!

I’m a licensed SigningSmart instructor and I have yet to teach a workshop. I need to get started, but I’m so busy with other things that it’s hard to want to sit down and figure out where to teach a class, and how to advertise it… not to mention learn my curriculum….

Thanks to the festival/convention hosted by deafski.com I’ll be going to Telluride in just a few weeks!

5 days of skiing for $100…. (plus airfare and hotel which are quite expensive)

I can’t wait.
