Gas is getting ridiculous, as Peak Oil is Here! Right now gas is about $2.95 and it’s only April. They are predicting $4/gal this year. I want a newer car that doesn’t need so many repairs, and helps me do my part environmentally.

I talked with Emily again. She still doesn’t care about her money ($1000 owed), but is very concerned about what I owe Jill, Dad, Mom, etc. I also owe Joy, Mom’s friend.

I am holding aside half of my paycheck as soon as it clears in my checking account. I’m setting up an automatic withdrawl to Ingdirect this Friday.

Half savings, half debt repay.
i.e.: $100 savings, $100 debts

I want to have $1000 in savings.
