I’ve never been a nail biter but somewhere and somehow I picked up the habit of biting my cuticles. I have no idea when I started doing this or why. It’s disgusting, it’s painful, it’s annoying, it makes my fingers look disgusting, but I can’t stop. Every time I start biting I start thinking about how I need to stop, but I’ll keep on biting. I’m doing it right now, actually. Ugh. It’s almost like an addiction. I really want to stop, but it’s hard.

I’ve been playing softball for about eight years and without being a cocky bastard, there were two years when I was one of the best players in my league. I’ve gone downhill since then for one reason: lack of practice. I’m lazy, I like it when things come to me. I don’t practice and I’m still one of the better players in the league, but I know that if I tried I could be really good. I want to start playing at the best of my ability again, so that’s my goal for next season, and every season after that.
I attempted NaNoWriMo 2005 and got up to 25,000 words in the third week. The fourth week I didn’t write a single word and it died. The days that I wrote were really amazing, I have never writen like that before. I don’t feel too bad about dropping out since it was my first year, but I would really like to finish in 2006.
