I stopped wearing make up every day when my chemical sensitivity became more problematic. I usually only wore mascara and blush, but the mascara was what was bugging me. Been several years now, and I don’t miss make up at all. :)

How I did it: I ordered heirloom garlic and put it in the ground. Apparently didn't water it enough, and it's nowhere to be seen. Then, when I lucked out and got some free raspberry starts from someone who was digging up her entire raspberry patch to start over becasue the garlic went to seed in it (heaven forbid!), I took a lot of the garlic starts that she was throwing away. I did some research, and turns out garlic and raspbe… Read how I did it…
How I did it: I kept my knitting project in a tote bag with handles long enough to tie in a tight knot. That's the only way I could keep it out and about without my toddler destroying it when I wasn't looking. Photocopies of the pattern were indispensible, so I could mark with pencil without ruining the original. Read how I did it…

I’ve been getting emails once a week on this task, and it has helped so much! I’m not a whiz at it yet, but it’s about the thought process, and reminding myself weekly that I want to live this way has allowed it to seep into every crevice of my life.
I find that the Dr Christopher’s approach is a little too “big-guns” and rigid for me. Such complicated formulas. It’s correct information, I’m sure, but I feel more comfortable with a simpler, gentler approach. Susun Weed’s articles appeal to me. Maybe someday I’ll take one of her courses, but reading online suits me for now. Also enjoying James Green’s Herbal Medicine Maker’s Handbook.
