Better person?

As I said “I want to be a better person”, a friend asked me “What do you mean by better person?”. My immediate response was “Good Question!”.
Then I told him, by saying I wanna be a better person, I mean exactly that. I want to be a better person. He asked, “Better than who?”. I said, “Better than me. Better than what I am now. Better than what I could become without trying. I don’t want to become a saint or leader. I wanna improve on everything that I know, everything I do, and treat everyone more better.”.
