How I did it: Well, I didn't go when I originallly intended to. The trip was cancelled as I had recently left a long term relationship and we were due to be going together. But... I did go a month later. I actually ended up going with my former partner and having a wonderful time. From the moment I arrived it was an almost surreal experience - i didn't do anything out of the ordinary. Most days were filled just by wanderin… Read how I did it…
but I don’t care! I want to fall madly in love with a tall dark handsome guy who falls madly in love with me. I want us to go on beautiful dates to nice restaurants and have picnics in the park, or stroll by the seine in the moonlight.
Yes it might be unrealistic but it’s not impossible. I want an old fashioned love with a guy who wears fantastic suits and brings me flowers. I know that life doesn’t stay like that but for once I’d love to have a relationship start out that way.
How many times when the radio comes on do you hear a song and it takes you back to another place? This happened to me again just today. What a fantastic way to look back over your life and remember all of those key moments in your past.
This used to be one of the things that I always thought I would get around to when I had time, but now as stress levels are rising it’s becoming more of a necessity. To be able to find some kind of faith and some meaning for what we go through has to make the trials just that little bit more bearable.
