If you don’t have the time or energy to follow courses or teach yourself Russian from books, I suggest busuu.com. I started with it a few weeks ago, and although I haven’t really learned many new words, if you put time in it, it’s perfect for it.
You first get a vocabulary (and they pronounce it), a dialogue, a writing exercise, and in the end a small test. If you pay for it, you can also upload oral exercises. Native speakers who have an account, correct your exercises. I’ve experienced that Russian members correct them very fast.

I still haven’t watched all the episodes, but I’m getting a little closer. In August I subscribed to the BBC Global iPlayer (€ 6 each month, I think), which allows you to watch nearly all the old episodes. It’s perfect if you’re ok with watching Doctor Who on the iPad, or other tablets.
(Confession: I did give up on the William Hartnell years after a few episodes and started with Tom Baker)

Totally not worth it. I cleaned my room because I was bored but it’s been two days and I can already see it getting messy again. I don’t think I could every truly place it with ‘completed goals’, because it’s never really completed, is it? A clean room will always end up getting messy again. Or at least mine does!
