I’m so rubbish at speaking to people who I’m emotionally attached to in one way or another. I just can’t say what I want to say, must be able to see their face! So long, long silences ensue. I think some people are getting a bit frustrated with me, but as I said, most communication is non- verbal anyway so phones are just evil… right?

How I did it: I moved back to the city where they were all living after I finished my degree... it was a minimal effort on my part really. Now we all meet up once a week most weeks and its just like being in school again but without all the rubbish teenage angst that comes with it. Read how I did it…
So I’ve got a place to do a dphil starting this october. Now all I need is some MONEY. I’ve applied for funding, will it go well? I know not reader. Otherwise, I’m just going to have to work a bit, get my dad to pay for a bit/ defer for a year and save up. We’ll see.
my tutor wants me to start looking for a phd supervisor. Which is fun. So I emailed a tutor from my old uni to ask his opinion for potential supervisors, God willing I get some interesting feedback. I don’t really mind where- I’m equally open to staying at home or moving out, it depends on how much funding you get really anyway.
