I didn’t find a new job- well I found an extra freelance job to supplement my current one but I still do the same old job. Only now I work from home, which is infinitely better for me in terms of saving on time and money. I’m much happier as a result so I don’t really want to look for anything else :)

How I did it: I prayed lots and when I met my now- husband, I sort of knew that something would happen. And he got a friend to speak to me, we met up and decided we liked each other, he met my family, I met his... six months after meeting we got married! Alhamdulillah, all praise is due to Allah. How I did it: I put my head down and wrote essays for the rubbish compulsory modules I had to do . Rather stupidly I didn't use my supervisor at all for my final dissertation, partly cos I didn't write anything until two weeks before hand in, partly because even though she knew a lot, she didn't necessarily know much about what I was researching. But it all worked out ok in the end. Read how I did it…
How I did it: I moved back to the city where they were all living after I finished my degree... it was a minimal effort on my part really. Now we all meet up once a week most weeks and its just like being in school again but without all the rubbish teenage angst that comes with it. Read how I did it…
