Many people think that simply doing crunches will get six pack abs. This definitely is not true. If you are younger you might have an easier time of getting them since some who are young have less of a fat layer over their stomach. Of course, this is not true in every case.
You can have the strongest abs, and not be able to see them because your fat covers them. To lose that fat you are going to have to workout your whole body. Aerobic workouts will work great for this. At the same time you will want to do various stomach exercises to build those muscles. However, you don’t necessarily want to concentrate on those exercises.
To really reduce the fat, you have to change your diet. Initially, you might have to reduce the food that you eat. Those fat layers are therefore reason. You have eat and too much. Your body uses energy and it also likes to conserve energy. When there is extra food that you don’t need, and your body will take some of that and store it in fat to may be be used later when you don’t have enough food to consume.
Therefore, to reduce these fat layers, you will have to use more energy than you take in (in the way of food). That way your body will use some of the fat as energy to keep the body function like it should.
There are many other aspects you have to incorporate into this process of getting six pack abs. Some of them are: drink plenty of water everyday, get your muscles some time to rest between workouts, eat more meals (mini meals) during the day to increase your metabolism, etc. there are other things you have to consider….motivation for one
