let go
I'm definitely forcing myself....

I NEED to let go of him in my mind and in my spirit … I don’t know how….

I miss him terribly, I want to know the truth, because I don’t think what he told me was the truth .. and if it was, then I am certainly having trouble understanding it ….

men think they are protecting you with the “It’s not you, it’s me” stuff … it’s so the opposite …. and who is filling my shoes .. that is one of many things that I can’t stop obsessing about.

It has been weeks, and I should be alright, but I’m not.

Please be honest with others … and don’t replace them so fast …. it hurts …. and I can’t seem to move on ….

End unhealthy relationships
Taking out the trash... hope you see the humor in this one...

Not sure what to say about this, but I’ve definitely been “cleaning house” of people who aren’t good for me in the last year….

Guess it’s kind of like taking out the trash or changing the cat litter … it sucks when you’re in the midst of it (very painful, even if it’s your own choice) ... but you sure feel better about yourself and your surroundings afterwards….

stop comparing myself to others
A book recommendation & to continue working at it....freedom to be...

When you figure out who you want to be, and stop trying to be who you are “expected” to be (by society, family, etc.) you will find a lot more peace and happiness. This is something I have been working on for a couple of years. . . and continue to work on, because the “tendency” never quite goes away.

A book that has helped me: “It’s All in Your Head – Thinking Your Way to Happiness – The 8 Essential Secrets to Living a Life Without Regrets” by Stephen Pollan and Mark Levine ….
here is a quote from it, (but I can’t share the whole flavor in one quote): “the way to stop beating yourself up is, ironically enough, to stop thinking you’re the center of the world.”

Got me thinking about some of our so called stars and media personalities …. some of them are obviously still beating themselves up no matter how rich and successfull and beautiful they are …. while others (Angelina Jolie comes to mind) seem to have learned, after many trials, this secret.
