I’ve been working for John Edwards’ campaign for a couple of months now. With all the rest of what my life consists of (a full-time job, school, friends & family) I can’t say I’ve ever been this busy, this tired, or this satisfied with life.
John Edwards is an extraordinary man with vision and passion, and Elizabeth has more courage than most of the men I know. I’m very honored to be part of a team that is out there ‘walking his talk,’ trying to unite people in my community and turn the out not just for the political stuff, but encouraging them to be involved in activities that make a positive impact on the community. We’ve so much great stuff planned, including volunteering at local food banks and soup kitchens, participating in fundraisers for alzheimers research, neighborhood cleanups, etc.
I may be exhausted, but I don’t think life could get any better.
I added 2 books to the original 5: 1984 by George Orwell and All’s Quiet on the Western Front.
This weekend I finished 1984. :)
