I’ve been wanting to do this for a while. I finally contacted the foundation and received my application to volunteer.

I’m currently worth about -$12,000. My goal is to first be worth nothing $0 and then I’ll worry about building up my fortune!

You can order absinthe from overseas and have it shipped to the US. Yes, it is illegal. I had several bottles confiscated by customs and I was out the money. When this happens you receive a mailing from customs that informs you the package was confiscated and that you can go down and claim it if you’re so inclined – I never was.

I have had bottles shipped from various countries. You do not halucinate by drinking absinthe – that is a myth. You do get an airy sort of buzz from the “real” stuff when you take it easy, but if you drink too much then you’re just drunk.

I’m sorry, but please don’t ask me who I ordered from. You can do a google search and with a little research you will find reputable people to order from. Be prepared to spend some $$ on it.

What makes it fun is the whole ritual of drinking it and turning people on to it who have never tried it. I still have a few bottles in my wine rack. If anyone lives close to me they’re welcome to come over and try some. I prefer to make and drink my own mead. yum!
