After all today I did my travel and hotel bookings for much awaited summer vacation in Ooty, a hill station in Tamil Nadu (India).

Now I am just waiting for the day to come when I’ll start my journey to one of the fascinating tourist destinations in India to escape the scorching summers, away from the hustle and bustle of the city life.

There is an endless list of places and activities which can be explored in India. The more you travel, the more inquisitive you become to know about its different cultures, people, geographical diversities, climates, flora and fauna. Though I have been to many tourist destinations in North-East, South, North and Western parts of India, but I feel that a single life is very less to cover all the enchanting destinations here.

Where the Northern parts of India are famous for hill stations, at the same time Southern India has some of the fascinating beaches in the world. One one hand, Northeastern part of India is a hilly terrain and is the first to welcome the Sun, but on the other, Western part of India is a desert land with innumerable fascinating places to visit.

The best thing to visit different places is to plan in a proper manner well in advance. We can get the information from different sources.
