I finally managed to beat up my sister’s score, though I noticed she played far less than I did and I fear she could overtake me quite easily if she only wants: that’s why I’m still religiously practicing thrice a day in order to better my previous high score.

How I did it: I just set myself some time everyday to practice. I used to play three games a day. If I managed to hit a new highscore I called the day off, knowing I could never manage to hit two highscores in a row. Read how I did it…
My main problem was the invasion of books which were making my room look dangerously close to the main character’s bedroom in the movie V for Vendetta (have you seen it? great flick, despite what Alan Moore may say about it). Well, I had books on my desk, books on my bedside table, books in cardboard boxes inside my wardrobe, not to mention books in the only bookshelf of my room. I already decided to buy a new bookshelf, of course, but I haven’t got a car and the only bookshelf available in the netstores I checked didn’t look so appealing to me. Finally I had the chance to go to Ikea with a collegue of mine who managed to borrow an old Ford van. I decided to buy two cheaper shelves instead of the bookshelf, mainly because being made of spruce they’re much lighter than chipboard shelves (only 7 kilos each). My room already look neater, although I still have to arrange the books on the shelves as you can see.
I’m starting my journey with … journalism (of course where do all journeys begin?). Doing pretty well so far by reading on my way to work (except the days when I’m riding my bike). As soon as I’m done with the novel I’m currently reading before going to bed I’ll move to my Finnish novels shelf.
