last time I went to Aikdo, I was knuckered for two days.
I played uke, and yes everyone was twisting my hands in an unusual positions, but I am learning slowly, and now I can twist hands as well. hehhe

Just the idea of somebody trying to learn this funky language from a textbook or through the internet makes my head spin.
