Yesterday (4/5/09; for future references) I got my hair trimmed. I know it was really dead. I asked a hair lady once, and she said that is was good to get your hair trimmed every couple of weeks (that’s a bit TOO much for me). She said that the hair would grow at the top, but continue to break on the bottom and never get any longer, which sounds completely understandable, so I’ve cut all dead split ends off. She kind of cut off a lot more than I wanted her to, but I know it was necessary. I’m also going to stop brushing (except for every once in a while), which I’ve already stopped. It takes my curls out and is unnecessary. I’m also going to take vitamins. Probably not tons, but for now, just a hair, skin, and nails vitamin, and then like a multivitamin. I know this is going to take a while, but the trimming was necessary. I don’t want to cut it all summer. My hair has already grown a good 1/4-1/2 inch since I’ve dyed it about 3 weeks ago. So that’s good. At least I can see it’s growing. Oh yeah did I mention I’m not going to straighten it anymore? I know that’s what has delayed my hair growth the most. I probably will straighten my bangs, but that’s fine since I’m not trying to grow those out. The picture I attached below is the look I’m going for.

How I did it: What was most important in reaching this goal was eating before going out. When you're at the mall or just out having fun, you're tempted to eat fast food. The real key is just eating before leaving. Read how I did it…
How I did it: I did this by just simply choosing water when I walked into my kitchen to drink something. Buying bottles of water helps. When you drink from the sink or refrigerator it's not as encouraging. When you get into a habit of this, I would move on to a more environmentally friendly bottle that can be reused, or recycle your plastic bottles. Read how I did it…
How I did it: I did this by getting good grades, submitting my application early enough, and taking care of all my necessary documents. It wasn't very difficult, but very stressful. Procrastinating sucks. It didn't help this process get done any faster, so I just sucked it up and took care of what I needed to. Read how I did it…
