How I did it: My friend decided out of the blue that she wanted to go see Hoover Dam, and I thought it sounded just random enough to be fun.  However, a few days before we left, we realized we had taken 5 days off of work to go see a dam.  You can't look at a dam for 5 days, even a really, really big one.Good maps to the rescue!  We just looked up Hoover Dam on the map, and looked around to see what was within driving distance.  We … Read how I did it…

I am a little hesitant to even list this as a goal, as it will undoubtedly take me years to finish. So far, I’ve got California, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, Utah, Nevada, Arizona, and Virginia. I’ve also kind of been to New Mexico and Colorado (I went to the “four corners”), and kind of been to Maryland (I went to Washington D.C. and I think I may have driven through Maryland for a few minutes).
