I seem to attract the typical “He’s just not that into you” guy. You know, the one that doesn’t call. The one that is constantly making excuses. The one that tells you everything you want to hear and then poof disappears. Well I’m not going to “waste the pretty” anymore.

How I did it: went over to Canadian Tire's greenhouse and bought some soil, tomato plants, zucchini plants, watermelon plants and some bean seeds. Dug some holes in the garden area in the backyard and now I'm just waiting for yummy veggies!! ...and some watermelon :) Read how I did it…
How I did it: Therapy! haha!! Seriously. It took someone on the outside to help me realize how often I was telling myself negative things. Once I realized what I was telling myself and how often, it was easy to stop myself. The more I stopped the thoughts the more confidence I had. The more confidence I had, the less the thoughts came! How I did it: I don't even know. I think its a matter of time and letting go. It probably took me so long because I wasn't ready to let go of the anger. Anger was all I had left of the situation. My life looked like a bomb had gone off. After I picked up all the pieces I only had anger left.. and letting go of it was frightening. I also learned that forgiving someone what more for myself than for the other person. It doesn't matter if they don't h… Read how I did it…

After hours in therapy getting my anger I finally realized that I’m angry at myself. At first it was anger towards my ex-husband for leaving me when I got sick. The anger and blame quickly turned towards myself for marrying someone like him and even getting sick.. things that I shouldn’t blame myself for but I do. So… time to work on forgiving myself.
