How I did it: Listened to meditation tapes and read a few books. Mainly did breath-counting meditation and a few short guided meditations.I found a good iPhone application that I liked that does guided meditations of 5, 10, 15 or 20 min, plus a special one for relaxing that I often used at night. How I did it: Cut out interesting images from magazines in the form of circles (with a circle cutter).Arranged sections on my dining room table to get a good visual mix.Placed the sections on the bathroom walls, door & ceiling with thumb tack.After a few weeks the paper circles started to curl & the edges flopped around, so I started to experiment with more permanent glue solutions. There are certain famous things in this city I’ve never visited that I want to see as I work towards this goal, and a few museums I’ve had on my list but haven’t made it to yet.
I’d really like to accomplish this goal by the end of 2009.
Yeah! I did it!
5 days of 10 minutes a day, plus on one day I did two sessions (and on a few others did breath counting to lull myself to sleep).
