My husband very kindly paid to have the photos printed for my birthday so I have made a start! We are curretly moving some furniture around though, so my scrapbooking things have been packed away for now but can’t wait to get back to it

How I did it: All in all it has taken more than a year if you consider that you can get your drivers at age 18 in South Africa. I counted the year from when i started having lessons with my current driving school but it has been a long, long road! I initially started lessons in April 2008 and went for my first test in November 2008. I failed because I rolled on the incline. How I did it: I received a nail care kit for my birthday and took it as a sign to stop biting my nails and put in some concerted 'nail care' effort :). In the set was cuticle oil, a 4-way buffing block and intense hand & nail lotion. I buffed my nails and put on the oil then lotion. I have been with my dietician now for the whole of 2010 and the last few months of 2009. In total I have lost 14kg. It has been a slow but steady kind of journey for me. I still spoil myself and if I really feel like that piece of cake I have it and account for it at the next meal or the next day. Recently found out that I am expecting so now the focus is on a heathy pregnancy and not picking up more weight than I need to. The initial thought of putting the weight I had worked so hard to lose back on again was something to deal with but so far so good….
I am 13 weeks pregnant and due on 15 July… it was somewhat earlier than we had planned… we were more in the discussion stage LOL I am quite terrified and excited all rolled into one…. so here goes :)
