Well, I finally called the nursing home. All I need to do is to fill out some paperwork and talk to the volunteer coordinator about what I would like doing the best. I’m excited! :)

Well, I started reading Genesis. I have decided to read the Old Testament first, even though it will be more difficult. I want to take it slow, and make sure I don’t miss anything.
nursing home

I saw this ad in the local paper about volunteering at the nursing home. It said that some of these people do not have family and look forward to people coming to visit them. I really need to do this. I just imagine myself in a nursing home, and I would desperately want people to come talk to me or play cards or something.
