I went to two classes this week at my new gym. They were beautiful. I am used to Bikram, so it was a nice change doing something more mellow. I really want to be doing yoga almost every day eventually. I feel like I’ll be able to say I practice regularly after I have been going most days for about two months or so. I feel so good about this! Yoga does nothing but beautiful and wonderful things for your life!

How I did it: I used to hate myself, and do all sorts of mean things to myself. Starting the learning process of loving myself was the hardest part. Changing negative self thoughts was really hard too. But I had to do it! Life is so beautiful and fun when you are loving yourself. Read how I did it…
Yes, Mindful eating something that goes very slowly sometimes. I have been working on this goal for about 1 year now. I am also recovering from bulimia and anorexia so I think its happening even more slowly for me (thats ok, I understand its totally normal!) Someday I will be able to eat mindfully almost all the time. Right now the path is full of potholes and slopes and high and lows, but I am so determined to make this happen for myself I don’t think I’ll ever give up. I have a recording I purchased on iTunes called “Guided meditation using self-hypnosis techniques and yoga nidra relaxation for weight loss” by Dr. Siddharth Shah. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS! Its been helping me a lot. I also have a book “Eating Mindfully” by Susan Albers, Psy. D. It has a lot of exercises and guided meditations that are very helpful. I wish I had more support sometimes, like a group or something to go to, but I am so shy sometimes it may take a little longer to find something like that. To all the other people with this goal on their list, I send my love and support. Cheers!
I got some work done on my next big piece today…its Mexico DF and its huge, chaotic and green and red, and I feel really good about where its going! YAY!
