How I did it: I reread some etiquette guides as a refresher. I was nervous I admit, but I did my best to appear not so. Can touch the floor in the right split. The left split I can, but only cheating a little still. I want to get the other two positions down to check this off. I loved this book. I started it by chance forever ago and only just recently picked it up to finish. I have to say what beautiful literature has been produced by Russian authors. I recently saw the movie Doctor Zhivago and feel in love. It is very romantic without the cheesy factor of most american films. I think that may be what differentiates the Russian works I have read. The authors portray the ugliness of love and love seems all the more potent for it. I thought Romeo and Juliet to be a pretty B grade love story, writing beautiful, content ehh… Star-crossed lovers are the most moving when the conflict is “man versus self.” Bless the romantics who with stain from idealism.
