How I did it: While I'm glad I tried using meds to control my anxiety, I had unpleasant side effects ranging from nausea to extreme weight gain. I gave them a fair try by taking them as prescribed, but as it turns out, meds are not a longterm solution for me. I have given up on meds and returned to therapy as the primary method of anxiety management, and I'm a lot happier with something that works. No more "what if" on meds, either. Read how I did it…
Finally went to the doctor for a regular checkup after three years of emergency-only healthcare. It’s a start!
Got back in without getting harassed by Admissions, even. Only 40 days left ‘til classes start, and I’m busy getting ready for them, so I’m counting this goal as DONE! :)
