I have to wait until I’m living in a house to adopt a greyhound and I should be moving into the house I’m buying by the end of this month or beginning of next month. I plan to wait a few months to get a dog so I can settle into my home and fix up the yard.

How I did it: My spouse and I saved money for about a year and nine months, then it took us four months to find the right house (and one that wasn't taken off the market when we were about to make an offer). It took us four more months to get the offer hammered out and have our closing. It was a very stressful time, but so worth it. Our apartment was literally making me sick and it was so crowded with all of the stuff we've accumulated over the years. … Read how I did it…
I’m currently in the process of buying a house and the closing is set for the end of this month.
I’ve gotten rid of 267 books since last June and I’ve read a lot of my shelf-sitters this year. I’ve also been trying to complete series I’ve started and I’m doing pretty well with that.
