A couple months ago, I realized I had a little six-pack. I called it a “blossoming” six-pack, but a six-pack nonetheless. Soon after, it was well on its way to being a “killer” six-pack, but then I got the flu. I rested up during the sickness and didn’t do any physical activity so that I could recover faster. But I never had the flu before, and I don’t think my body knew how to fight it. Even after I began to feel better, I continued to cough for another month, and in doing so, blew all the muscles off my ribcage, front to back. I was in too much pain to do any physical activity whatsoever, and over the month and a half, my almost-”killer” six-pack returned to merely a “blossoming” one. Now I’m better and I really want the “killer” back.
I’ve wanted to climb the Grand since before I moved to Jackson. While I was there though, I wasn’t really in the shape to do it. Now I am though, and I can’t think of anyone I’d want to do it with more than my mom. She’s in killer shape and I know she could keep up. It’s going to be awesome.
