Beat my depression

I finally took that first step and made an appointment with a psychiatrist. She diagnosed me with bipolar disorder, which explains a lot, including why I didn’t improve on Zoloft or Wellbutrin. So, I am now on 400mg of Seroquel and I am thriving. I feel really content, and I am a million times less anxious. In addition, I am falling asleep the second I hit the pillow, rather than tossing and turning for hours—and I sleep straight through til morning! On top of the medication, I am going to the gym a few times a week with Anna, and I am eating much healthier. I am taking liquid fish oil daily (improves mood + all its other benefits) and vitamin c (for my skin/hair). I am working hard to keep the weight of (seroquel makes you gain quite a bit) but other than that I am feeling on top of the world.

I don’t want to be on medication for the rest of my life, so I will ride this out for awhile and then figure out my options.

+ orange juice that counts as two servings of fruit.
I also plan on having an apple later on tonight.

see a meteor shower
stupid storms 14 months ago

We had a two week period where it pretty much rained and stormed every single day. When it came time for the Perseids Meteor Shower, the sky was far too cloudy to see anything :(

sigh Second time in a row….... third time’s a charm…..?
