Fresh juice makes all the difference :)

I have actually weighed less than I do now by exercising and cutting calories in the past but I felt miserable and deprived of food. Recently, I bought a juicer and started drinking fresh vegetable/apple juices on a daily basis. I don’t consciously restrict calories; I mainly just eat three meals a day and try to have a balanced diet. I try to avoid sugary foods and dairy products (not good for me personally but probably healthy for others) and the weight just keeps coming off. I wish I had incorporated fresh juice into my diet sooner. For anybody that feels frustrated during the weight loss journey, I recommend watching the film “Fat, Sick, and Nearly Dead.” For me, other health issues (skin and digestive) were central to my motivation for better health; the weight loss was secondary but still a benefit (I was only borderline overweight). The film shows how these other health issues relate to our weight. And you don’t even have to do a juice fast like they do in the film (I haven’t)—just add healthy juices to your current diet so that you give it the nutrients it needs :)

For the second time in my life, I’ve managed my money well enough to pay off some substantial debt. One burden off my back now. Feeling pretty good!

Well, I didn’t get published in print but I’ll have to settle for being online. Next year, I’ll make it into some publication :)
