There’s a book called “The Writing Diet” by Julia Cameron. I think the whole book is hokey and kind of unnecessary, but the basic concept is good: something to do OTHER than eat.
So my “edited” writing diet is simply going to my laptop or notebook and WRITING when I get the urge to eat my boredom/feelings. :D Alongside a sensible dieting and exercise plan, I should be able to lose 20 pounds over the summer.
