We just found out that J’s mom has to go in for another brain surgery on the 9th. With how scared this makes me, I know J must be even worse. It’s been six months since we got married and we still don’t have our wedding photos back, so I emailed our photographer and left her a message asking for them before Monday so we can email them to MIL. She wasn’t at the wedding, so I want her to see some happy pictures to boost her spirits before the surgery. I wish we could be down there with her, but there’s no time for that now. Please think happy thoughts.
It’s been weeks and the temp agency hasn’t heard anything about either job. It’s not looking promising. There is good news though: J was called back about a job he interviewed for a couple of months ago and he starts tomorrow. It’s another temp job, but it goes through February and pays $17.50 an hour. That should be enough (barely) to cover our bills for those months, so my unemployment payments or work pay and financial aid will be to help us get ahead. Our financial stress should be a lot less through February and after that we’ll see what happens.
