it wasn’t a protest per se, but i attended a candlelight vigil in support cindy sheehan on wednesday. she was camped out in front of president bush’s ranch in texas demanding a meeting with him to ask what her son actually died for in the war. it was awesome. i’ll try to post some photos to my flickr account soon.

i took the plunge and installed fedora core on my box a couple months ago. after a couple issues with my sound card, it was working fine. my overall experience with linux has been both frustrating and rewarding. for all the frustrations i’ve encountered, there has always been some forum or webpage that has helped me figure it out.
There are a couple bewares I’d like to share with you:
a. word-of-mouth referrals are a better indication of a tattoo artist than his/her portfolio of photographs
b. think long and hard about your design as it will be with you forever
c. don’t get drunk before – your blood thins and it could result in you passing out
d. it’s okay to pay a lot of money on a good tattoo – think of it as an investment
e. tattoos are addictive. you have now been warned.
