How I did it: In the simplest terms, I ate breakfast for all 3 meals. In reality, it was a much more complicated endeavor. It was the end of the holiday break. I had been staying up later and later every night until the Friday "night" the weekend before I was due to return to work, I went to bed at 5am and woke up around 12:30pm. I knew that I needed to fix my sleep schedule before Monday, so I had two choices. I could try to force myself to sleep earlie… Read how I did it…
How I did it: I just kept up the running and pushed myself every single time that I went for a run. I had some good days and some bad ones, and ended up having to push very hard to finally do the run in 19:52. Read how I did it…
How I did it: I set a goal and set my mind to accomplishing my goal. I gave myself 16 weeks to eat well and follow an exercise plan that would make me lose fat, gain muscle, and get into the best shape of my life. The results are satisfying and I am very proud of what I've accomplished. Read how I did it…

I had written up a brief plot synopsis, but then my computer puked on me and it got deleted.
I’ve spent most of the day listening to jazz. This has been a day of nostalgia. When I was in high school, and for part of college, I was very heavily into playing jazz trumpet. I played in many groups and would play for hours every day. Playing shows was something I really loved to do.
My goal here is to clear off the rust and at least get back to being a passable jazz trumpet player. Then I’d like to find a small group to join, maybe only for a show here and there.
I’ve ordered a Silent Brass system so that I can practice in my apartment. I’ll likely only play a few times a week because I want to focus on guitar, but it will be nice to play an instrument that I’m already good at.
I joined a book club in town. The club meets once a month, and I already attended my first meeting. It was enjoyable to sit down and discuss a book. Usually I don’t have anyone to discuss the books I’ve read with. Having an in-depth discussion on one was quite nice.
