Plan a bike trip to Bald Peak
Persistence!

Though the day was waning and the clouds were darkening, I decided to bike my way to Bald Peak. Alone. It was a long ride especially with the hills and with the use of only one speed. Boy did that banana seat get uncomfortable but I got used to it. When I made it to the park at the top I was quite satisfied and took a moment to myself. The ride down was wonderfully fast and got the adrenaline pumping around corners; especially one that was covered in some pea gravel which almost caused a wreck. Fun things to note: surprise bag of Skittles during hunger fit at the park, rolling a curbside tire down the mountain… and finding it later on the way down, seeing a nearby deer, a small chunk of snow at the top, going 45mph downhill, and seeing a Subaru at the bottom of the mountain in the ditch (poor guys)
