I have not smoked for 2 weeks. I am the happiest I’ve been for a long time. I used to hate myself every single time I lit up. Hating yourself 20 times a day is no way to live. I am SO happy!!
I have made it 10 days with no smoking. I have not used NRT for this quit and it’s made it SO much better. Days 2-4 were hard but they didn’t kill me. Now I hardly every feel withdrawal symptoms (none today…at all). I always felt withdrawal symptoms with the patch and gum. I think my attitude about quitting has changed and that’s why it’s easier this time. I can’t wait to check off be smoke free for 2 weeks on Friday night. Why didn’t I do this sooner?
